Update: 02/08/2021
Non Nuoc Pagoda is an ancient temple built during the Ly Dynasty but it was collapsed, so it was restored and rebuilt in the Tran Dynasty for the purpose of worshiping Buddha. The temple is located in a prime location nestled at the foot of Non Nuoc mountain and the banks of the gentle Day River.

The pagoda is located in Thanh Binh ward, Ninh Binh city, so it is quite convenient for tourists when they want to visit and worship the pagoda. Non Nuoc Pagoda has an area of about 2000m2, the first time the pagoda was built entirely of stone, with a curved roof typical of Southeast Asian temple architecture. In 2006, the pagoda was restored and inaugurated, but still retains the inherent sacredness and serenity of the temple.

On the occasion of the full moon day, the first day of the month or on holidays, people inside and outside the province come to the temple in large numbers to worship and pray for health and full fortune. On Ong Cong Ong Tao Day (December 23) each year, local people come to Non Nuoc Pagoda to release fish into the Day River and pray for a happy and prosperous new year. Coming to Non Nuoc Pagoda, visitors can drop their souls into a natural picture full of poetic charm, listen to birds chirping in their ears, and admire the ancient beauty of Duc Thuy mountain reaching out. embracing the beautiful Day river. As a temple with a long history and sacred core values, it is certain that when visiting the temple, visitors will feel relaxed and peaceful.
